The rental experience and Wanda were both as expected. Craig and Dominica were very responsive to my questions. All in all, a great experience.

The RV had two glaring failures for our trip. The engine driven AC and the rear-view camera left the coach unlivable in the weather we found in Bakersfield. Any possible damage to the rear of the coach could have easily been caused by my not seeing the rear of the RV while backing into my overnight parking space. Worse was that even with the engine AC on and the generator-driven roof AC working the lowest temperature at night rarely dropped below 87o. The end result was that we had to find a motel each night for sleeping. Totally eliminating any advantage of a self-contained RV.

Thank you for your review. To clarify, we had messaged you one day into your travels to see how things were going and did not get an update until day 4. When we finally spoke you claimed the dash AC was not operating well as and the rooftop AC units failing when plugged in. At that point we offered to get a mobile RV mechanic out to you immediately and you declined. We later found out through our conversations that your RV site did not have the proper amperage hookup (50 amp) to have the power to run the rooftop AC’s and that’s why they were failing. We had done our due diligence prior to your departure ensuring you had the proper hookups at your sites even though it was not our responsibility.
As for the damage to the rear of the vehicle, during our pre-departure test drive we spoke about always having a spotter outside the RV to help guide the driver when reversing.
We are sorry your trip was not what you expected but we do believe we did our best to set you up for success and trouble shoot any issues as they arose.

Craig was very accommodating and informative. He texted us during our trip to make sure there were no issues or if we had questions. We would definitely rent Wanda again.

Craig and Wanda were great . Wanda performed well , She did everything we asked of her .Wanda is very roomy, We had a nice birthday party in her for a 7 year old at the lake .
Craig was super easy to communicate with via text . and Flexible with the pickup and drop off times. Over all a great experience . We are planning a beach trip in the future we would defiantly take Wanda again.

This was our first time renting a motorhome. Not only that, it was my first time driving one. Craig (Wanda's owner) did an excellent job explaining how everything worked, gave detailed instructions about set up and break down, and even gave me a brief driving lesson. Made a world of difference. He even handled a panic text that I sent at 11pm the first night when we had water pump issues. The rig was clean, in very good working order (not perfect, but you shouldn't expect that with something as complex as an RV), and relatively easy to operate. Craig was awesome to deal with in every way, and I definitely recommend renting Wanda if you have a chance.

Craig & Dominika were great hosts and we had an amazing time taking their RV out camping. The RV had everything we needed & fit my family of 4 + our golden retriever perfectly. The hosts were extremely attentive, flexible and had no problem answering any questions that came up while we were on the road. We had an overall great experience and can't wait to take it out again in the future. Thanks so much, Craig & Dominika!!
