Our first recreational vehicle was a 37 ft bumper pull which was lost in Hurricane Harvey. To replace that unit and have something to live in while we rebuilt our flooded home, we purchased the Thor motor coach. Talk about silver linings! We loved the ease of the motor home compared to our old unit. Although we have been back in our home for a while now, the Thor continues to serve as guest quarters whenever family visit and gives us very nice 'camping' quarters when we join our friends and family at the Texas Renaissance Festival each year. As a retired professor, we started two family businesses which keep us closer to home these last few years but we have visited almost every wildlife park in the South Texas Coastal plains at least once.
