if you are late on a return, or do not dump your waste, or keep me in any way of taking care of my next renters, you forfeit your full deposit. im not worried if your 30 min late but 4 hours or something un reasonable your paying for it.. ive had people try dropping off at 1130 at night and not want to pay for that day..
examples are not returning it in the condition you took it in, any repairs etc. I should be able to jump in it change the bedding and sanitize the unit and it should be ready for the next renter to pick up. my time is money if I'm late because of you, all my other renters suffer and so do I. that has a price. that price is subject to me only. im as flexible as i can be and sometimes there is no flexibility others there is a lot of give.

credit card processing fee
due to the rise in everything we simply cannot take the hit for customers connivance. What we can do however is remake the rental quote for a much smaller amount and collect cash from the customer. THAT will delete this fee. the deposit is still charged via the credit card like normal due to the ease of getting it back to the customer faster and easier.
4% of subtotal
damage risk fee
the camper is 100% the renters responsibility while renting. This fee covers the renter of the responsibility that in the event something happens to the trailer, I am unable to rent it until fixed or replaced, and have to cancel other reservations, and have a loss of income due to loss of use. If you have a home owners policy that will sometimes cover damages to a rental unit but do not cover loss of use/ income. renting campers is a huge risk to owners and the income that we depend on. this fee is mandatory and for every rental. This also helps us this helps cover some of the "minor" wear and tear/damages that we do not take from deposits out of good faith to all customers.
