There is nothing like experiencing the open road and our country, sitting up high and being able to see instead of just staring at the trunk of the car ahead of you.If you are interested in RV-ing and want to check out if this is for you before you take the plunge and take on the expense of buying your own, or if you are seasoned but want to wait until you can work less to enjoy your RV more, then renting is the way to go.We just purchased a 40-ft Diesel Pusher because we needed a larger RV and so we would be able to toad our car. But after putting all this work into Dancer, we decided to make her available to you instead of just selling her for a song. We would take her out on the road to anywhere in a heart beat, because she has proven to be dependable on 2 trips from El Paso to DC within the past 8 months. From out of town? No problem! If you are flying in, we can meet you with the RV at the airport once you land and meet you at the airport when drop you off the RV for your return flight. If you are driving in from out of town, you can park your car in the RV's spot at the ExtraSpace gated storage facility-no extra charge. Now we are in the process of replacing the luggage compartment lights and locks,Spring '19: replacing bedroom and kitchen windows.
14 Nov: Dancer is getting a brand-new set of tires.
21 Sep: For everyone's protection, we have started treating all seats/beds/couches with Harris Natural Bed Bug Killer, Fast Acting Non-Toxic Spray with Extended Residual after each rental.
4 Sep: finally finished replacing the rear-end after the passenger side axle broke in Jun. We also had all the bearing, hubs, brake and tire components checked/serviced
23 Apr: replaced baggage compartment locks with keyed alike locks
03 Apr: replaced the Clevis pin,a double ball joint arm, which extends and retracts the automatic steps.
Apr: replaced the Clevis pin, a double ball joint arm, which extends and retracts the automatic steps.:
31 Mar: replaced the plastic handles on the gray and black water dump valves with metal ones.
06 Mar: installed ShadePro dash mat
13 Feb: Step Tub & Surround were refinished
10 Feb: had the rear bumper/hose storage replaced and support under tub added.
On 30 Dec '17 we installed a 19-in TV in the bedroom and a 19-in TV/DVD combo in the front. Both are on articulated wall mounts and each has a 50-mi TV antenna with amplifier.
Also included in the rental are:
- a 12ft cigarette lighter outlet extension cord. There are 4 12V outlets: 2 in the dash, 1 for the front TV/DVD combo, and 1 for the bedroom TV. This will allow you to conveniently plug in a car charger for your cell phone while anywhere in the RV.
- a triple cigarette lighter socket.
- a 200 watt inverter with 3 regular and 4 USB sockets. It plugs into any of the 4 12V outlets. When watching TV in the bedroom, use it to power the TV and amplified antenna.
- 12V DC Electric Car Fan - Rotatable 2 Speed Dual Blade with 9FT Cord - Quiet Strong Dashboard Cooling Fan
- 600 watt pure sine wave inverter
- hand-crank powered Noaa Radio; just in case
- 6 camping chairs
- 55"aluminum camping table
- sheets, blankets, towels, dishtowels, melamine bowls & plates, indestructible cups, silverware, first aid kit

Oct'17 Dancer just came out of the shop after our last 2 1/2-month trip to the DC area. She had a head-2-toe check-up to make sure everything is in top condition for her next adventure with you. The back brake pads were replaced, new igniter switch for the stove installed, head lights adjusted, exhaust pipe secured with a bracket, and a general check of all the systems/equipment, to include checking the roof for any leaks and resealing the roof lights. She also got all the carpet in the living and bedroom replaced with heavy duty tile and wood-look vinyl tiles and the windows re-screened.While this is a 1994, she is well maintained with low mileage (only 65K), only had 2 prior owners (the last owner had her for 15 years), and the inside was completely redone before we purchased her in Jan '17. (newly re-upholstered captain's chairs, seats, couch and dinette).Since then, we had the starter replaced on the generator, new motor and digital thermostat for the gas furnace installed, new Kenwood radio/cd player with bluetooth connectivity, new bass speakers, replaced both roof ACs-both now also have heat strips (at that time we also had all the electrical wiring checked and replaced as necessary), had the suspension redone: added stabilizer bars on the front, front airbags were replaced with SuperSprings coils, the rear had the leaf suspension reshaped and an extra leaf added on both sides and SuperSprings SumoSprings Rear Bump Stop Upgrade Kit installed (it now rides super smooth) and of course we also had it just aligned, new head lights, new vehicle battery and new compressor for the dash AC.The motorhome has a solar charger on the roof that continuously charges the house batteries and the vehicle batteries. It has an auxiliary start, which allows you to temporarily use the house battery to assist the vehicle battery in starting the RV. Toilet w/sink is separate from the shower. The shower has a small tub with a seat at the back so you can sit down to shower. Bathroom has a ceiling fan. The center of the passenger area has a Fantastic ceiling fan. The fridge/freezer works on propane, generator or when the RV is hooked up to a 30 amp outlet. It has hydraulic leveling jacks and lots of storage inside and underneath. While there are seatbelts for 6, there are 5 comfortable sleeping spaces, 6 inna pinch & everyone doubles up: queen-size RV mattress in rear bedroom, dinette converts to a large twin-size and the sofa to a large full-size sleeper. If you have smaller children, the twin could accommodate 2. It is very simple to operate and of course we will go over everything with you.Pick-up and drop-off times are totally negotiable. Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring their well-behaved furry companions, birds, etc.20 gal black water tank, 65 gal fresh, 40 gal grey. You only need to run the generator if you want to run the roof ACs, microwave or use the 110 outlets. Furnace & stove run on propane. Texas taxes are included.Insurance: Outdoorsy only provides comprehensive (damages to your rental / our RV) coverage for Vehicles older than 2000. Please contact your insurance company to see if your current automobile policy will cover liability (damages you cause to something or someone else) for the duration of the rental. Please send the initial payment once you request a quote to reserve the RV, otherwise someone else can still reserve it during the time frame you contacted us about. If you are allergic to dogs: the previous owners had dogs and so do we. While we thoroughly clean Dancer after each rental, we cannot guarantee there won't be a stray hair or dander here and there. We only allow use on hard/blacktop road/surfaces, so you will not have to level Dancer. This is to prevent any issue with retracting the hydraulic jacks, as the RV cannot be driven with the jacks down.Dancer weighs in at 13,500 pounds with full water, gas and fuel tanks). The maximum towing capacity is 2,000 pounds, Maximum weight (water, gas & fuel tanks full + passengers, luggage & anything towed) cannot exceed 18,000 pounds. If you want to tow anything heavier-a car or boat on a trailer- you will need to rent a diesel pusher as most gasoline coaches were not designed to tow something very heavy.

We love to travel-comfortably and not be tied to plane, train, bus, hotel or any other schedules. We love our RV, but needed a larger one, and did not want to just give it away. Now we have 2 RVs and a travel trailer and provide affordable rental with lots of extras without charging extra. We are very flexible when it comes to pick-up/drop-off times /location. We even deliver to the airport so our guests do not have to incur extra expenses for hotels/rental car etc. Vacations are special and you should not have to jump through all kinds of hoops and nut rolls to have an awesome and unforgettable adventure.
