Colorado based and family operated RV Rental Business. We have a passion for the role we play in helping families and friends make amazing memories wherever their journey's might take them. All of our RV's are less than 3 years old which means you get the best available luxuries and technology when you rent from us. We are located near to the Denver Airport. Something that helps us stand out from others is our approx. 30 minute Orientation we do with every rental pick up to ensure everything is working and show the renter how to operate everything before they disembark.

It was wonderful to be able to take this almost-new RV out for our family excursion. We are new to RV use and it was surprisingly easy to drive/maneuver…albeit a bit noisy out on the road. All of the RV’s amenities were easy to use and felt almost indulgent. As newbies, our major learning from the trip was that this RV felt like it is ideally used as a home base, with another, smaller vehicle to explore from there. We covered a lot of ground and the RV handled it fine, but we realized it’s maybe not how it’s meant to be used.
Trailhead was great to work with. They are a well-oiled machine getting these things in and out. We would have liked to talk to someone on the phone prior to the trip, but all communication is over text.

Thank you for the review. The Rv is brand new, it only had 1500 miles on it and you were the first person to ever stay in it. Also I’m not sure what got missed in the process but we are always available over the phone.

Overall, things were excellent. The pickup/dropoff organization was not what I expected. The times are SPECIFIC which made the process a lot more complicated. The owner was gracious in helping us find the right pickup/dropoff times that would work but was not happy about it. The unit itself was great overall and Aaron who guided us through pickup/dropoff was excellent. We'd rent again now knowing about the extremely specific times.

The pick up and drop off times are listed on the listing within outdoorsy prior to booking. They are also disclosed in your booking process and your contract info. Then we also send emails out leading up to your trip reminding you of those as well. I wish there is something more we could of done to help you with this so we wouldn’t of gotten 4/5 stars. This was our first trip in a RV and it went great. We had two adults and two little kids and it was a perfect amount of space. The RV can seem a bit intimidating at first but it's easy to drive and surprisingly easy to navigate. Everything worked and the RV provided a perfect home base for our trip. The orientation helped and a booklet is provided that explains how to do everything which we referenced a couple times.We learned a lot and would do a couple things differently next time. For the cost, we were surprised that we were responsible for getting the RV rent ready again especially as RV newbies with zero experience. We underestimated the process of dumping the tanks, refill propane, etc. at the end of the trip. We did not have cell service and could not look up where to go. I would definitely make a plan before you leave if you are going to do that stuff yourself (if you don't, the fees are substantial). Also, the drop off time is specific and you will be charged $50/hour if you are late until the RV is returned. Give yourself plenty of time to get home and return the RV. That was my only real complaint. It's very hard to get the timing right when traveling (we got stuck on the road for over an hour due to an accident). It would be much more renter friendly if there was a return window like 12-5 for example. Overall, we were very happy and will rent again.

We had a great time with our RV rental from Trailhead RV Rentals. We did a roadtrip from Denver down to New Mexico and enjoyed the experience! A few things for future renters...there is not on-site parking available. Make sure to make arrangements for that. Also, we would recommend bringing a mattress topper as the standard RV mattresses are just not very comfortable. Trailhead RV Rental made the entire experience easy though. We would rent from them again in the future for sure!
