About Alexandra Cicorschi

We are an artist couple who love to enjoy what mother nature has to offer. Our van has been our travel getaway starting with weekends to months on the road. We wanted to make sure that we could drive comfortably and easily (with a relatively normal size car), access most places, have a comfortable bed with storage / modular systems for multi-functionality, and be able to cook because we love to cook! So, that is what we built. This is not our 'big' business idea, but rather a mode of living and exploration that we want to share with others.

Alexandra and partner were flexible, open and quick to answer any correspondence. The Dodge is easy to drive and has all the resources needed for a road trip in cleverly designed compartments . They even lent my son a basketball for the duration of the trip. Highly recommended.

This is a Dodge Caravan. I mention it because I learned on my trip it does not qualify as an RV. Some sites may not let you stay there. However, it was perfect for what I needed. The van ran very well, was economical on gas. I was able to hook up my iPhone to the sound system. The black out screens were easily installed and worked well. The owners are easy to work with and responsive to my requests.

Very well organized camping Van. Long enough to stretch-out sleeping, and the bedding rolls back easily for easy access to cook necessities & cooler in the back. The hosts were on time for meeting, within a 1/2 hour radius uber from the International Airport, and filled the tank with gas! The only concern were fall/winter roads and the need for good windsheild wipers and good tires, even chains were mentioned in Yosemite (yetwe did discover a valley road!). Overall a beautiful trip and sweet memories guarenteed rain or shine-

Renting this van helped us achieve our Yosemite dreams! After moving out of the Bay Area last year, we wanted to visit again with a camper van. This van was so convenient with everything we needed and made camping a breeze. Alexandra was so great at communicating and very flexible when our plans changed. It made us want an adventure vehicle of our own! The price was very reasonable, the van was clean, and everything was very easy. Thank you Gypsy Caravan!

I’m so grateful to Alex for sharing her van. She graciously let me rent it for 4 weeks and I went all over the place. The van is brilliant & comfortable; there is a place for everything. It was in good mechanical condition (a few quirks, nothing safety related). Alex & Mushi did a great job orienting me to the custom build. I felt prepared setting out.Hiccups: There was no registration in the car. When I noticed this, the response was, “We have never been pulled over.” They assured me the vehicle was registered and the card was just missing. Later, highway patrol cited me (not the owner) for no registration and expired stickers. The car could have been impounded. There was also a THC edible hidden in the door; this is punishable by 5 years in jail in one state I drove through. Then I was asked to pay for gas (I received it at 3/4 full and returned it at 100% full; I shared photos and she dropped it). This soured an otherwise perfect experience. I still recommend it, but document and check everything.
