We rented a camper van March 4-15. This was to be my wife’s and I kind of trial to see if this is what we wanted to do after retirement, not to mention to catch northern lights. From start to finish Carolyn was amazing and very informative! We had a wonderful time, the van was perfect in the cold Alaska weather. If you are on the fence about doing this, do it!! River Wild is amazing and we can not recommend them enough! Thank you Xarolyn and team!!

From start to finish while planning our first trip to Alaska, Carolyn went above and beyond to help us navigate this amazing adventure. She was very responsive via email and phone calls. She was nice and friendly every time and was a wealth of knowledge. My husband was very impressed with the camper van and said this made our trip even better! River Wild was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. Their location is a short uber trip from the airport and easy to find. We would recommend River Wild Camper Vans to everyone!

We would 10/10 traveling with River Wild. We LOVED our van; it made it really easy to travel warmly in the winter and to be as present in the places we were traveling to as possible. The crew at River Wild is incredibly helpful and supportive, and we'd definitely rent from them again.

Carolyn was easy to talk to to plan our rental and bucket list Alaskan trip. The van provided all the flexibility needed to adventure our way through Alaska. The mileage allowance/ day was definitely enough and we never felt like we needed to limit our exploration. Everything necessary was included however it was low. We rented the van for 2 weeks and ran out of paper towel, propane, butane, and the Clorox wipes were empty when we went to use them. We bought all items in order to finish out the trip. Low on hand soap and hand sanitizer. The entire van was so clean at arrival and stocked with a nice welcome basket. Fridge had plenty of space. Plenty of storage area too. Never worried about the battery charge. Heater was fantastic on cold evenings. Window covers were easy and truly gave us privacy. Bed and bedding was comfy. Check bed dimensions if you’re a tall person though. Book your Alaska trip and definitely get a camper van from RiverWildCamperVans! It’s worth it!

We loved the camper, easy to drive, comfortable bed and pillows. Bug and bear spray was provided. Great fridge. Communication was fantastic. The only minor annoyance was with cooking. I missed having a griddle and a couple plastic wine tumblers would have been nice. Otherwise all was good.

Thank you River Wild for an outstanding experience traveling Alaska with your van. It came with everything and a whole lot more. Everything was above and beyond. All we really brought for our 9 day adventure was our clothes. We stoped at the grocery store after picking up the van and started our adventure. We made coffee every morning with the jet boil stove and coffee press. For lunches we made sandwiches and keep all the makings cold with the refrigerator. We cooked a few dinners with the Coleman stove provided.
