Be careful! Only out for your money! Didn’t receive the RV and she still tried to take half of the money. It is impossible to get insurance with her and then when you bring it up she says she won’t rent the rv. She tells you to cancel it so the policy helps her get half your money while you get nothing.

Elly’s answer

This was a last minute booking. Got details on where he was heading and asked him to complete the insurance verification process within the first six minutes of our conversation. Gave renter half day's price to pick up one day early, so he was supposed to pick up SAME DAY. He booked my generator, Blue Ox hitch, and was going to take two dogs. All of this worked out in the first 30 minutes. Seems good right? 80 min later, we're still chatting, asked him again to complete insurance verification. That evening, 6:11PM they say they're on their way to pick up (7:30PM pickup time). Gave them address. Noticed still not insured. 7:00 PM they say they bought the insurance. Told them they hadn't bought it. 7:05PM told them to call OD for insurance. 7:07PM they refused. 7:08 PM told them "then you'll have to cancel. I will not release the trailer without insurance." 7:09 PM- they respond "Okay I would like all my money back if possible, we can't do anything if outdoorsy is not letting us in our end." Told them "You'll have to cancel on your end and follow the cancellation policy." They responded with "Negative." 7:10PM- "I'll see you in court if you take half my money" "Idc about the cost but I'm not getting jipped" 7:11PM "If I call outdoorsy I'm getting a full refund." So clearly, they're confrontational and they're cancelling, right? Had a baaaadddd feeling that things would get ugly, so we load the trailer up, put the generator away and head out. 7:34 PM, they message me, "We are here." They STILL HAVE NO INSURANCE at this point. Neighbor was outside in his yard and said they squealed tires on my driveway. Did in fact have black mark in driveway. 8:15PM (and still no insurance) I receive message: "We went to your place, no answer. FYI we already disputed the charges so make sure to not spend the money that you charged us so you won't go negative." The renter told OD that I was a no-show and wanted a refund. They said nothing about the insurance. I had to go over it several times with outdoorsy reps, but it was finally solved after being escalated twice and then sent to the resolutions team. I was absolutely fine with only receiving the cancellation policy amount, even though their refusal to cancel had my RV marked as "UNAVAILABLE" for an entire week.
