Unfortunately, we had many problems with this trip. The RV was not clean, dirt all over the floor and urine all over the bathroom. We even smelled urine on the queen bed cover and had to remove it from the RV. We also noticed the water level was reading 1/3 and black water reading 2/3. We decided to clean it and move on, knowing many families rent and maybe it was an oversight. James said he filled the water and pumped out so maybe the meters were wrong. The next day we discovered the RV battery and the generator battery were dead, and needed to be replaced. James was willing to come and troubleshoot, which we appreciated. Then a day later we ran out of water and the toilet backed up. We had never even used the shower!
We used to own our own trailer and have rented from outdoorsy before. We have never had this much trouble. We feel these issued could have been prevented with a thorough pre-inspection and attention to detail. James was willing to help, but continued to miss really important details. As a result, this getaway to the beach turned into a stressful, uncomfortable, frustrating experience that we just wanted to end.

Usually I do not respond to renters. But this guy wanted a free ride! He didn’t pay for his reservation in full at the time of booking only to call me and ask me if I could do a side deal. These people are con artists! They have never used an RV before nor do they have any experience dry camping! I will admit. The battery did die and I replaced it the next day. The generator has a battery as well. It was perfect when I left. However, they ran it and left the unit on resulting in a dead battery. Which I drove out and replaced. They had 5 kids and used and entire 100gal of water in one day! I emptied the tanks at the location. I then drove out and checked. The tank was full! Toilet backed up because they didn’t know how to use a RV toilet. They didn’t add water to the bowl before doing a #2 plus they put baby wipes in my septic talks. Evident by the baby wipes package in the bathroom.

Very easy transaction. James was great - delivered the rig so we didn't have to tow it, and picked it up. Very clean - basically brand new!
